New (?) Text Object does not handle Right-to-Left languages e.g. Arabic.
Using svg has been suggested but is not ideal.
Is it possible to add this Right-to-Left handling?

I think he means the text variation ( which is not new at all). Arabic is written and read right to left and that is what he is wanting.

Indeed input text in the text.wf transformation ... where the font has been set to a valid Arabic one (installed & al). The text input is OK ... i.e. I can enter arabic text and it displays fine while entering it in the text window:
"هم السلاطين و السادات والأمراء"
However, in the flame editor I get all ??? for all characters ... and upon re-opening the text-transform-text-windows, the text is now displayed as ??? as well.
Using the svg.wf transformation works fine though.
