I've been playing with animations in easy movie maker and just tried to output flames for my movie, but when I view the flames, they are all the same. I would expect them to be different for each frame of the movie. I verified this by comparing two very different frame numbers and the only value in the XML that changes is the `frame` attribute on the flame element. All other values were the same.

this is correct as different frame numbers lead to different evaluation of parameters. Motion is applied by evaluation of motion curves at a certain time (frame), not by generating different flames.

Cheers!

Darn, I was hoping to export the flames so I could render them in the GPU using a script. Making a 4 minute 4k video rendering on the CPU doesn't sound like fun. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do this without writing my own jwildfire scripts? Maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks!

you could write a JWildfire script which does evaluate the motion curves, modifies the flame and then writes the modified flame
