I can't find the "polar(deg)" button.
some beautiful fractals can be created like this:

What exactly does this button do? (Had no look into Apo for years and can't remember)

It can easily control the distance from the origin to transform, and the angle between X coordinate and the transform.

It lets you manipulate the affine coefficients in polar coordinates instead of rectangular. It can be quite useful; it lets you set the rotation angle of the triangle directly instead of having to reset it and use the rotate button to rotate it. You can also see the current rotation angle, which can be helpful at times (easier than copy/pasting the X1 value into a calculator and taking the arccosine).

JWildfire doesn't currently have this feature. I wish it did, and have several times pondered how it might be added.

I checked it, and think it is currently too much effort for a little use.

But, you can upvote it.
When there are art least 10 voices who want the feature, I will implement it.

The problem: it requires really a lot of controls. 6 controls to display/edit coordinates and one or two control to switch between polar/cartesian coordinates.

With the upcoming animation-feature all of those controls must support creating/displaying of keyframes. Besides the effort of implementing this, we must also consider performance to update/synchronize those controls.

Waiting for votes now... :-)

I have added a poll in the open group to see if or if not people will want this. https://www.facebook.com/groups/JWildfi ... 402765546/
